Hi! A fren alerted me about this event and i went there for the opening and stayed till the end. I kinda share some of your views. But I also feel that the topic is timely ‘cos other countries are also pushing hard onIslamic Tourism. Imagine, even S Korea is pushing hard on Islamic Tourism. I’m doing some studies on tourism and so I stayed till the end and talked to the organisers. Quite interesting. I was told everyone else in the world are trying to define what is “islamic tourism’ and still have not finished defining it yet. Hahaha! Maybe it’s so new that its better to talk about it and find how to define it better. But businessmen will always find their way thru! I saw many people at the opening but they didnt stay back after they had their free lunch. Rude don’t you think?
